  1.    PC-Flow, the Personal Cash Flow Budgeting System, enables you to forecast
  2. and analyze your budget with an emphasis on daily cash flow.  You can quickly
  3. and easily update cash flow data to reflect your current financial situation in
  4. order to assess your future cash flow.  Each transaction may occur once or be
  5. repeated daily, weekly, or monthly.  The analysis reports show projected cash
  6. flow.  Breakdowns by classification over selectable time periods can also be
  7. produced.  On-line help for all menus is available.
  8.  
  9.    If you were using a previous version of PC-Flow and want to upgrade to this
  10. version, copy the file PC-FLOW.EXE to the existing PC-Flow directory. PC-Flow
  11. will automatically handle the upgrade for the new version the next time you
  12. execute it.

  14.    To execute PC-Flow, type "PCFLOW" at the DOS prompt.  To view the manual on
  15. the disk, you may execute PC-Flow and use Menu 5 to print it or use the follow-
  16. ing commands in DOS:

  18.      TYPE MANUAL        -- displays the manual on your screen
  19.      PRINT MANUAL       -- prints the manual on your printer.
  20.  
  21.    If your DOS PATH is set to the DOS commands, you may stop the display from
  22. scrolling too fast off your screen by using the "TYPE MANUAL|MORE" command.

  26.      The following list outlines substantial changes made to PC-Flow for each
  27. version update.

  53.            expense-type classifications.
  54.          * Added new report: Net Cash Flow Report (menu 2.2).
  55.          * Transaction Breakdown Report (menu 2.2) changed name and menu number
  56.            to Classification Breakdown Report (menu 2.3).
  57.          * Format changes in Classification Breakdown Report:
  58.                (1) output income before expenses;
  59.                (2) output net total (income-expense)
  60.                (3) option to not output zero amounts
  61.                (4) option to have new page for each period
  62.                (5) choice of different time periods (days, weeks, months, or
  63.                    years).

  65.          * Fixed minor bug in Purge Old Transactions (menu 3.2) command.
